We are looking for a CMM Operator to perform CMM and other quality inspections on finished checking fixtures. The CMM Operator will have a thorough understanding of GD&T and conduct 3D best fit and hard datum CMM inspections on finished checking fixtures. The CMM Operator will also create inspection reports, communicate results, and maintain CMM machinery and software.
A successful candidate possesses the following skills:
· Technical - understands technical drawings, 3D CAD and GD&T; has experience operating different types of CMM machines
· Problem Solving – develops an inspection plan for each fixture and trouble-shoots problems in the fixture design or manufacturing if they arise
· Communication - communicates well with all internal personnel as necessary
· Self-starter – ability to manage time well and scheduling well
Education and experience:
· Working knowledge of Hexagon Metrology’s PC-DMIS software
· Ability to operate and read various hand-held measurement instruments
· High school diploma required with engineering-related education and CMM training and experience

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
