Responsibilities: Our Medication Aides are responsible for delivering medication services to residents and documenting resident services accordingly. In addition, our Medication Aides are required to: maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality with residents and family information; assist and/or administer medications as prescribed by physician to residents; notify LVN/LPN of any untoward medication response; assist/manage all medication refills; acts as a liaison between caregivers and nursing staff regarding medication; delivers services and monitors resident needs according to service plan; and ensures high quality resident care is consistently being delivered.

Job Requirements:

• CNA or equivalent certification (required)
• First Aid and CPR certified (required)
• Completion of course work/training in medications (required)
• Six months’ experience in related position
• Complies with licensing requirements
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Possesses a high degree of interpersonal relations skills
• Capable of relating to a variety of people and personalities
• Initiative, good-judgment and leadership skills required
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
