The role of Club Supervisor is to oversee daily service operations during non-peak club hours. This is an hourly management position that may flex to a server or bartender role during peak times. They will always uphold service standards through exemplary leadership and direct communication with team members. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Member and Guest Experience
- Managing daily service operations and soliciting member feedback to optimize guest satisfaction and the member experience
- Driving speed and efficiency of service while upholding standards
- Forging connections with membership, and encouraging the same of the team
- Performing table visits to assess needs, disruptions in service, and ascertain current guest needs
- Communicating openly with the AGM and/or GM regarding each shift
Service & Employee Relations
- Upholding service standards through exemplary leadership and direct communication with all team members
- Maintaining a positive working relationship with all management team, admin, and all staff
- Ensuring scheduled staff are present and on time
- Assisting in all aspects of service during scheduled shifts
- Supporting Front of House staff in all service needs
- Maintaining open communication between the kitchen and Front of House
General and Administrative Conduct
- Operating the club in full compliance with ABC regulations.
- Open and close the club on non-peak days
- Provide leave coverage for other members of the management team for instances such as vacation, sick, bereavement leave
- Be an additional layer of support during management transitions.
- Adhere to all employee policies outlined in the CH Employee Handbook
- Answer all emails and communication in a timely manner
- Maintains proper count of cash registers and performs nightly audits
- Checking daily for damaged items in need of documenting in the CH Maintenance Journal
- Maintains a management style that is professional, productive, and positive
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior hospitality experience required
- Must be 21 years or older
- For Internal candidates:
- Minimum 90 days employment
- Must be proficient in all service roles (server, server assistant, events, bartender, concierge)
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient multitasking
- Ability to recall and memorize menu items
- Ability to work well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
