As our first Cloud Sales Account Executive (IBM), you will develop growth for territory sales targets (YoY), nurture clients, and mentor junior sales team members. You will develop revenue streams for cloud-based workloads. You will also play a key role in identifying, qualifying, and selling our company's offerings in public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
What You'll Do:
- Understand enterprise IT workloads to effectively target and encourage the migration of applications to the cloud.
- Developing recurring revenue streams to drive cloud sales and annual growth
- Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects, assessing their industry position, and researching available sales options.
- Establish and nurture contacts with prospects, building strong relationships and offering suitable solutions.
- Maintain ongoing client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance, and recommending opportunities for improved profitability and service.
- Support the growth and development of team members by planning and delivering solutions, answering technical and procedural questions, teaching improved processes, and providing mentorship.
What We Need:
- 6+ years of sales experience ideally in IT industries, with major cloud-based solutions
- Successful penetration and account development into new territories/regions
- Ability to make data-driven decisions
