OVERVIEW:

The position of Closing Advocate (CA) is responsible for the coordination between the Buyer, Seller, Sales Reps, and any third-party vendors as we progress from a Fully-Executed Contract to the Closing. Essentially, the Closing Advocate is the quarterback for the sale, ensuring everyone is executing on behalf of the customers. The CA is ultimately responsible for the successful closing of a sale between a buyer and seller. Successful closings are the primary source of revenue for the company, giving the CA a position of great importance, responsibility, and reward.

POSITION RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports To: Director of Closing Services

Key Internal Relationships: Accounting Team Members, Market Directors, Post-Closing Team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

▪ Weekly and monthly goals are provided based on company projections with the Closing Advocate working toward achieving those targets each week/month

▪ Pop’s proprietary software is at the heart of company sales, operations, and financial management. The platform is one of the key differentiators for the company. The CA will work exclusively in this platform to manage deals.

▪ Close examination of the Purchase and Sale Agreement as a sale is submitted to closing (Posting a Deal)

▪ Calling the Buyer and Seller to conduct a professional introduction call based on best practice and intro call scripts

▪ During the introduction call, the CA will review the Closing Process with the Buyer/ Seller, explaining how to make payment, schedule a survey/ inspection, their closing documents, and how the sale is finalized.

▪ Schedule all aspects of the survey/ inspection process. Confirming listing location, time, and date with all parties before the scheduled event.

▪ Promote finance, aftermarket products, and extended warranties.

▪ Communicate effectively with the buyer, seller, financing institutions, and sales team members assigned to deals.

▪ Generate closing paperwork and distribute it to the applicable parties.

▪ Collect paperwork and review for inaccuracies.

▪ Maintain and keep an accurate closing calendar of scheduled close dates

▪ Create and submit an accurate accounting prep to the accounting team before closing

▪ Communicate with the accounting team on scheduled closings, updating with any sales agreement changes or alterations to the accounting package already submitted.

▪ Schedule and organize pick-up arrangements between the buyer, the seller, and the sales team.

REQUIREMENTS:

▪ Previous experience in F&I preferred but not required

▪ Dedication to customer service

This role offers a base salary plus commission paid on performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
