POSITION OVERVIEW

Clinician/Social Worker, Intensive Aftercare Prevention Program

Licensed Social Workers are eligible for a $7,500 signing bonus!

The Intensive Aftercare Prevention Program (IAPP) is a home-based program assisting families who have children in foster care or children who are at risk of being placed in foster care. This position is responsible for providing home-based clinical services with children and their families to help preserve or reunite them in accordance with Northeast Parent & Child Society's stated purpose and mission of protecting children, preserving families and strengthening communities.

What an IAPP Clinician in our can except at Northern Rivers:

  • Provide home and community based assessment, planning and treatment with individuals, groups and families with those enrolled in our Family Preservation services (the level of intensity / number of direct services hours per family is dependent upon the services in which one is employed)
  • Complete necessary all records and client information in accordance with agency, county, and state policy and funding requirements
  • Continue skills development through agency-provided clinical / core training
  • Provide liaison contact with collateral resources such as referring agencies, schools, family court, and other agency personnel serving on behalf of a child and/ or family as it relates to their treatment
  • Primarily responsible for the clinician decisions when assigned and paired to work as a team with a Bachelors Clinician (Family Case Manager or Clinician Case Manager).
  • Ensure provisions of regular treatment plan meetings and services plan reviews.
  • Ability and willingness to do the job as it is today and change as the job changes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Requires a Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field
  • Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience.

CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE

  • License Preferred: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
