We are a team of 500 employees across seven states providing services such as Family Preservation & Reunification, Behavioral Health, Therapeutic Foster Care, Adoption Services and Older Youth Services so the families and children we serve can build resilience and thrive.
What You’ll Do as a Therapist:
- Administer scores and interpret assessment instruments.
- Complete any identified diagnostic assessments.
- Develop and implement Service Plans based on assessments.
- Provide ongoing mental health/clinical services as needed or are required by contract.
- Maintain client documentation in accordance with SAFY policy and COA standards.
- Services are provided at the level of frequency, intensity, and duration appropriate to prevent placement or achieve reunification. Services provided are tailored to each family’s needs, problems, strengths, lifestyle, and culture.
- Submit written reports to supervisor and other parties as required timely and accurately regarding the progress of each family’s case.
- Prepare comprehensive reports that adequately convey the necessary information to permit interpretation and decision-making.

Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, or child & family studies is required.
- Must possess and maintain the appropriate level of licensure required by the state - LMFT / LPCC / LCSW / LPCA (may be under supervision; supervision also available in agency).
- Two years of experience with family preservation services, crisis intervention, or trauma-informed care is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
What We Offer Our Therapists:
- Targeted hiring range: $46,000-$70,000
- (Compensation is commensurate with transferrable experience, education, and licensure of candidate, location of the position, along with internal equity and budgeted amount for the role.)
