Description

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical supervision, supervise clinical interventions, provide administrative oversight of staff, and may maintain a small clinical caseload themselves. Our Clinical Supervisors also are responsible for the direction and operations of a clinical program under the supervision of a Clinical Manager. The Clinical Supervisor monitors the quality and productivity of the team, and serves as a liaison to community partners, stakeholders, and families.

 

Shift. This position is Monday - Friday, regular business hours. We have a hybrid work schedule where you can enjoy working remotely half-time and work in the office 2 days per week!

 

$5,000 Sign On Bonus Available! *Not eligible for PRN candidates, internal employees, and re-hired employees within 90 days from separation.

Based on full time (40 hours/week). Prorate if less than 40 hours/week. Paid in two installments: 50% on first paycheck, 50% on paycheck following 6-month anniversary.

 

About the team.

The Ascent Program (First Episode Psychosis) is an evidence-based treatment modality which offers community-based support to youth and young adults for up to five years. We provide intensive wraparound mental health care to individuals aged 15-29 who are in the first 24 months of psychosis. Our program is guided by a shared decision-making approach which encompasses a multidisciplinary care team of psychiatrists, clinicians, case management, peer support, supported employment/education, and nursing.

 

About you.

The ideal candidate must be an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist who is able to treat Medicare clients and has previous experience working with teens/adults with severe and persistent mental illness. This person will have supervisory skills from previous positions, strong clinical and administrative leadership, data-driven program implementation, and a drive to provide early intervention to a vulnerable population within our community. This candidate should have strong organizational skills, be highly collaborative, and enjoy working with complex systems on a multidisciplinary team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise components of clinical operations and set program policy and procedures for team.
  • Provide group and individual supervision and case conference meetings on a weekly basis.
  • Build and maintain cohesive, supportive, reflective, respectful relationships among staff.
  • Review all process data with staff and discuss areas for improvement, and respond to clinical areas of need with specific training for staff.

  • Supervise entry of all data by staff and ensure accuracy, and conduct chart reviews.
  • Build relationships and work collaboratively with local non-profit agencies, public social services, and state policy makers to enhance their understanding and utilization of services.
  • Complete assessments, determine initial diagnostic impressions, and deliver outstanding clinical care for persons living with a psychotic disorder, primarily schizophrenia.
  • Maintain a small caseload determined by team capacity and need.
  • Support the Program Manager with tasks, as requested
  • Monitor and coordinate care for assigned clients in partnership with the other members of the clients care team.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Clinical Licensure required: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Ph.D, Psy.D
  • Licensed mental health clinician with Masters or Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
  • Knowledge of child, youth, and adult mental health interventions and diagnoses.
  • Minimum of five years experience working psychotherapeutically with clients, along with experience specific to the program being led preferred.
  • Significant experience working in office and community based settings.
  • Knowledge and experience working with diverse cultures and ethnicities.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience conducting supervision with Masters level clinicians preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.

 

Required Vaccinations and TB Test.

AMHR has prioritized the health and safety of our clients and staff and requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, receive an annual influenza (flu) shot, and receive negative TB test results prior to their first day of hire. Proof of both vaccinations and negative TB test will be required upon your first day of employment. Medical and religious exemptions may be requested for the COVID 19 vaccine, annual flu shot or TB test.

 

Salary for this role.

Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. Salary is also based on experience and company equity.

  • Licensed Therapist: $71,728.80 - $98,155.20  per year.
  • Licensed Psychologist: $98,155.20 - $117,031.20 per year.

 

Bilingual Language Differential Pay. *rate depends on language requirements for the position and candidate's fluency.

  • 5% of base salary up to a maximum of $3,000/year
