Job Summary
The Clinical Research Assistant works directly with a Clinical Research Coordinator, Unit Leader, or Research Nurse to coordinate and/or implement the study and may serve as the point of contact for the external sponsors. The Clinical Research Assistant is responsible for completing case report forms, entering Clinical Research data, and assist with regulatory submissions to the IRB, manage study supplies and inventory. The Clinical Research Assistant provides limited patient contact as needed for study. In addition, the Clinical Research Assistant may coordinate activities, training, and education for other Clinical Research Associates, may assist with study budget and patient research billing.

Qualifications

Education:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in science or health related field

Experience:

·        Two (2) years relevant experience in research, health care, oncology or other science related field

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

·        Knowledge of Health Sciences (biology, medical terminology)

·        Experience with electronic health records

·        Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment

·        Meticulous and able to deliver reliable and high quality product in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

·        Able to set priorities, multi-task, meet deadlines and provide support to a wide variety of people and positions with guidance.

·        High sense of integrity and commitment to customer service
