Clinical Placement Assistant

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: Summers off! This part-time position works approximately 19 hours per week, mid-August to mid-May. 
Preferred Start Date: January 8, 2024

Starting pay range: $18.14 to $20.86

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Clinical Placement Manager, the individual in this position performs diverse administrative and support activities for the Health Professions and Nursing divisions. This position assists to ensure student and faculty Clinical Placement processes adhere to affiliation agreements with healthcare partners. This position is responsible for timely communication with students and faculty, ensuring all necessary documentation is promptly supplied to meet compliance requirements, all under the guidance of the Clinical Placement Manager.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years' full-time equivalent experience in a health care setting (medical office, urgent care, etc.) required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient skills in using database systems
Proficient skills using Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel)
Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone, copy machine, etc.
Ability to work as collaboratively to establish and accomplish goals for Health Professions and Nursing Divisions.
Demonstrate understanding and acceptance of the mission, values, goals and objectives of NIC.
Demonstrate and support understanding and values of the diverse population of students, faculty and staff.
