Position Summary:
This position is responsible for registering new patient accounts, including insurance verification and patient registration. Processes credit card payments and posts to patients' account balances. Intake and balance all clinic payments daily. Accesses multiple insurance and hospital websites to retrieve information. Updates current database, answer phones, greet patients, and sort and update returned mail.
Salary Range: $15.00 - $19.50
LOCATED IN HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA.
High School diploma or GED required.
- Hard Skills: Experience working in a healthcare environment with patient registration experience; Strong customer service experience/skills.
- Soft Skills: Self-starter, ability to handle confidential information, and willingness to be a team player.
