Form of workThe Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for the ongoing assessment, development, and implementation of Nursing Orientation. Works with others in the Education Department to implement a successful Nurse Residency program for new graduate nurses. Utilizes HealthStream to create education modules based on identified learning needs. Other responsibilities include organization-wide education including annual skills validation and new product or process education. Works closely with nurse leaders and patient safety team. Facilitates compliance with regulatory organizations and standards. Supports Patient Education Specialist as needed.
Position Requirements:
Current GA RN License
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
5 years Nursing Experience
Preferred:
Critical Care Experience
1-year leadership experience
