The role is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week with a highly-flexible schedule. No weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities Include (full job description provided prior to interview):
- Respond promptly to pre-admission screenings.
- Establish and enhance relationships with referral sources, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Coordinate medication, durable medical equipment, and medical supply orders efficiently.
- Assist in developing program activities, guidelines, and identifying community resources.
- Review external medical data, process prescriptions, and order medications.
- Maintain current knowledge of residential clients, conduct nursing rounds for timely responses to medical needs.
- Collaborate on individualized treatment and discharge plans, providing nursing care and education.
- Coordinate and maintain thorough client documentation.
- Communicate with on-call physicians and participate in clinical reviews, care conferences, and medical appointments.
- Supervise the Residential Care Coordinator providing progressive training and growth opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings, in-services, and relevant continuing education.
- Maximize employee awareness of educational resources.
- Offer meaningful educational experiences to interns, volunteers, and job shadows.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
- Completion of State required nursing program;
- one to 3 years related rehabilitation experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Associates degree or relatable experience required. Experience in working with neurological conditions is preferred.
- Possess a valid State Driver’s License
- Certification in Origami's Training Curriculum including AED, CPR, and First Aid (provided after hire)
- Certification as Brain Injury Specialist (provided by employer within 6 months of eligibility)
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop kneel or crawl, and taste or smell. Accommodated alternatives are acceptable if they accomplish the necessary essential tasks. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
