Job Summary: Idaho Skin Surgery Center, Fruitland is a second office to our Boise location and we are looking for a Clinical Medical Assistant to join in on our already awesome team! Principle Duties: The Clinical Medical Assistant will do just that, assist clinically. Duties include rooming patients, updating health history, obtaining chief complaint, and scribing patient visits in our EMR. You will also be responsible for assisting in minor surgical procedures including biopsies and excisions as well as periodic blood draws. Miscellaneous duties include answering patient phone calls, reviewing biopsy results with patients, medication prior authorizations, maintaining instruments, stocking rooms, etc.

Preferred Qualifications: Currently Certified/Registered Medical Assistant preferred. Dematology experience is a plus, but not mandatory. Knowledge of common dermatology terminology and procedures as well as experience with electronic medical programs will help you stand out amongst other applicants, though it is not necessary as we are willing to train the right candidate.

Physical Demands: Significant amount of walking, stooping, bending, assisting patients, data entry (typing), and some heavy lifting may be required (up to 30 lbs.).
