LCSW Position Summary:

 

The Clinical Manager of Psychosocial Support Services is responsible for developing and advancing the quality of social work practice for hospice and palliative patients through coaching, collaboration, consultation, education, research, and by assisting in providing specialized direct patient care.   The Clinical Manager of Psychosocial Support Services provides oversight for the delivery of care to patients and families provided by the Social Worker with collaboration of the interdisciplinary team of clinicians. The Clinical Manager of Psychosocial Support Services manages round-the-clock Social Worker support needs, supervises the Social Workers, and maintains necessary staffing to ensure continuity of care.

 

Position Qualifications:

 

  • Must have active Licensed Clinical Social Worker designation in Kentucky or Indiana, with ability to be licensed in both states.
  • Minimum of five years Clinical Social work experience, with previous experience in hospice or palliative care preferred.
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience, including supervision or mentoring of social work students, interns, or new graduates.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of organizational objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to provide consultative advice and feedback.
  • Flexibility to travel to sites within the organization's service area.
  • Proficiency with technology-based tools, including electronic medical record.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.
