Remedy provides behavioral health revenue-cycle services to treatment facilities across the United States. We've grown steadily over the last three years by keeping our exceptional staffing teams small and dedicated to specific accounts. We're looking to expand our team and Utilization Review services to include clinical consulting & assistance with quality assurance.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Clinical Liaison is an important role in continuing to improve the services we provide our clients and ensure they are aware of changing insurance standards and strategic opportunities. The Clinical Liaison maintains a Utilization Review caseload for insurance authorizations, while also assisting with training facilities on medical necessity criteria changes and best-practices.
REPORTS TO:
The Clinical Liaison reports to the Lead UR Manager and/or the Executive Team, which shall remain and change at the discretion of the Executive Team.
COMPENSATION:
The Clinical Liaison will assist our client’s with enhancing their clinical programming. Compensation for this role has a wide range based on clinical licensure & experience.
Unlicensed range: $45,000 - $52,000 based on experience.
Licensed range (clinical licensure): $50,000 - $60,000 based on experience.
DUTIES:
The Clinical Liaison shall assist the Lead UR Manager and/or Executive Team with any operational requests, projects, tasks, recurring or not recurring, which are directed and/or assigned to the Clinical Liaison regardless of their inclusion, adaption, or otherwise omission from the summary below.
The Clinical Liaison shall onboard “UR” for every new account for a period of no less than thirty (30) days to ensure continuity of insurance authorizations and provide thoughtful initial assessments on clinical status.
The Clinical Liaison shall assist our clients with reconciling their clinical services with weekly billing & ensure billing is provided timely to our billing team.
The Clinical Liaison is expected to maintain a caseload of clients for Utilization Reviews and share best practice information with Supervisors.
The Clinical Liaison is expected to record, track, and propose solutions for improving clinical services for each of our clients.
The Clinical Liaison is responsible for carrying out and executing the approved action plans for improving clinical services for each of our clients.
Educating Remedy staff and Facility staff on ASAM criteria, medical necessity, insurance requirements, and documentation requirements
Pulling medical records with the assistance of the UR Manager on a case by case basic
Notify the Lead UR Manager and/or Executive Team of any policies that have Termed and Retro Termed and how to adjust the members claims after contacting the facility on how to proceed (Will the member obtain cobra, have they made their monthly payment, should claims be written off after the policy termed)
Complete no less than 15 reviews a day
The Clinical Liaison, like all staff, are expected to assist with completing VOBs as requests during peak hours.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
