Clinical Lab Scientist Iii

Minimum Requirements:

• Three (3) years Clinical Laboratory experience as a Clinical Lab Scientist
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in section of specialty
• California Medical Technologist license (LIC CLS)

• Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.  This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Special Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of principles procedures and techniques of Clinical Laboratory analysis especially in section of responsibility.
• Knowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements (CAP CLIA Joint Commission).
• Excellent communication skill both orally and in writing.
• Ability to be an effective team member and work with many publics across all departments.
• Ability to understand and utilize adult principles of learning.
•  Ability to direct and provide leadership to others.
