The Department of Radiation Oncology at Tulane Medical Center / Tulane Cancer Center is searching for a Clinical Instructor of Dosimetry.
This position requires a MDCB certified Medical Dosimetrist with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics or a related field and with a minimum of three years clinical experience in all aspects of clinical Radiation Oncology, a strong background in clinical research, and a vision to expand the Department’s mission to provide excellent patient care and research. This position will report directly to the Interim Chair in the Department of Radiation Oncology and will involve a faculty position at the Instructor, Clinical Track level in the Tulane University School of Medicine, commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications for this position:
A. MDCB certified as a Medical Dosimetrist
B. Bachelors Degree in Physics or related field
C. Minimum three years clinical experience with treatment planning systems for 3D plans, external beam, electron and photon energy and high dose and low dose brachytherapy
