Educational and Professional Background:

• Education: An Associate Degree is non-negotiable.
• Work Experience: Previous experience in IT Healthcare systems? You're ahead of the game!
• License/Certification: Current RN license in Tennessee is required.

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Tech-Savvy: Develop, test, and implement new informatics solutions to enhance patient care and streamline healthcare processes.
• Data Analyst: Crunch and interpret patient or system data to refine our services.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with health Informatics Specialists, systems engineers, and nurses to translate information and apply it to nursing practice.
• Strategic Planner: Craft policies or practices to safeguard patient information and improve technology applications in healthcare.
• Patient Care: Provide crucial data that is relevant to patient care and guide both staff and patients in EMR usage.

Additional Duties:

• Critical Thinking: Use multiple sources of data for evidence-based decision-making.
• Teamwork: Collaborate across departments to facilitate effective information flow.
• Client Focus: Meet the tech needs of clients effectively and efficiently.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Office Life: You'll be based in a professional office setting, making use of standard office tools and equipment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use standard office equipment. You'll occasionally need to lift or move items up to 20 pounds.
• Health and Safety: Corrective eyewear and hearing assistance are essential. Potential exposure to infectious diseases exists, and you may have to handle emergency or crisis situations.
• Other: You may be required to wear protective gear and pass all requisite health and other screenings.
