Paragon Healthcare is a rapidly growing healthcare company that offers many different infusion healthcare solutions for patients. We have a multitude of Nurse Practitioner managed outpatient Infusion Centers throughout Texas, Tennessee, and Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Colorado and Missouri with plans for further expansion across the US. The Infusion Centers provide a comprehensive list of infusions including but not limited to biologics, antibiotics, hydration therapy, iron, and enzyme replacements. The Centers do not provide chemotherapy or blood products. We believe in providing the highest quality healthcare solutions in an ethical and patient-focused environment.
The District Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing, supervising and overall staffing of their districts infusion facilities, quality and safety of patient care, flow and process of the infusion suites in addition to providing services to patients under their Scope of Practice. The District Operations Manager delegates duties and patient care to applicable staff within each facility as necessary. The District Operations Manager facilitates the relationship between the staff and the organization and also acts as the point of contact between the staff and the organization. This full-time position is in Austin, Tx.
Experience/Education:
RN or NP preferred, but non-licensed professionals with healthcare management experience are also welcome to apply.
Current license in good standing with all governing bodies.
Remain current and achieve required continuing education units.
Previous management experience preferred.
IV skills required.
Ability to multi-task required.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent computer and typing skills necessary for company workflow and completion of daily tasks.
Ability to lift 60lbs.
Completes continuing education necessary to maintain current licensure in all states licensed.
Completes continuing education and training as assigned by supervisor.
Competent with office computer program (i.e., DripSync).
Competent at partner programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Major Responsibilities:
Abides by company policies and procedures as well as INS standards of practice, OSHA guidelines, State Nurse Practice Act and state board laws/guidelines.
Trains and oversees center directors.
Facilitates communication between senior management and the center directors.
Monitors Clinical Staff in the clinic for compliance of company policies/procedures and take immediate corrective action. Notifies supervisor when necessary.
Travels regularly to infusion clinics in district as necessary to ensure Paragon culture and Policies and Procedures are being followed.
Address staffs clinical concerns to facilitate safe and appropriate patient care.
Oversees and assists center directors with staffing schedule.
Maintains a positive working relationship with the Medical Directors, referring physicians, nurse practitioners and office staff both internally and externally.
Rotates into the clinical setting as needed.
Assists in the implementation of specific plans of action for special projects.
Provides supervisor with goals and requested information in timely manner and as specified by senior leadership team.
Assures that INS, State Department of Health, and Infusion Therapy Program standards of care and clinical practice are maintained through new hire orientation and annual competency assessments as well as monitoring daily care provided by clinic staff.
Demonstrates effective time management skills while performing responsibilities of the District Operations Manager role.
Is accessible to the nurse practitioners and senior management to assist in effective communication between the patient and the company, to include documentation of suggestions, complaints and requests.
Understands and adheres to all applicable state, local and Federal laws and / or regulations including maintaining patient confidentiality through abiding by HIPAA laws/regulations.
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with internal and external customers as well as all company employees.
Displays a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times.
Works with center team to maintain the infusion center in a neat, clean and organized manner.
Completes payroll and all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate fashion.
Meets expectations for customer satisfaction and anticipates customer needs.
Handles customer/patient complaints in a fair and empathetic manner.
Performs other duties as required
