Position Name: Supply Chain Analyst(Supply Chain – Clinical Procurement)
Location: San Diego, CA 92120
Support set up of Alpha procedural inventory (cath lab, ep, GI, periop, etc.) including PPI, consignment. Ensure unique items to Alpha are set up in Optime for charging. Will establish PPI PARS in Premier. Facilitate requisitions for non-inventory items. Work with suppliers on new terms, rules of engagement for case support. Implement vendor management application at Alpha and explain health requirements. This Contract Labor resource will backfill UCSDH Clinical Procurement Mgr who will do much of this work side-by-side with existing Alpha on-site buyer so as to train on-the-job.
- Continue to develop PAR levels based on procedural case requirements for PPI and specialized inventory within existing procedural areas
- Be responsible for procurement of the replacement of PARs based on procedural reporting and consignment replenishment with established UCSDH policies and procedures
- Conduct high level inter-departmental communication for evaluating all information needed to purchase, contract, and source with compliance for UC policies and procedures.
Preferred Requirements:-
- 3-4 Years Experience (In Procedural Areas preferred)-
- Professional Cert Preferred (i.e. CMRP)/Bachelor's Degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
