Clinical and Prevention Services Administrative Supervisor

KVC NE is seeking to hire a Clinical and Prevention Services Administrative Supervisor!! The Clinical and Prevention Services Administrative Supervisors primary goal is to ensure the success of all individuals/families referred for KVC Nebraska Clinical and Prevention Services.

The Clinical and Prevention Services Administrative Supervisor will guide and direct the team based on evaluation of program standards and outcomes through collecting data, analyzing data, creating compelling headlines/stories about data, coordination with the Director and will support and create new strategies to continuously improve service provision to individuals and families. The Clinical and Prevention Services Administrative Supervisor partners with the Director of Clinical and Prevention Services to manage the performance of team members and advance the reputation of KVC NE IIHS, OTS and SA Services. Along with the Director, the Administrative Supervisor will develop and implement new programs to meet the needs of the community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

40% Program Management

Program leadership will hire a high quality and diverse workforce to deliver programs and services. New hires will represent the agency’s desired image and the essential abilities to perform in the role. Program leadership will provide pre-service and ongoing training that both meets organizational and individual needs. The Administrative Supervisor will provide clear outcome data to the team that highlights areas of success and areas for advancement. The Administrative Supervisor will lead conversations that celebrate success and facilitate change efforts where relevant. The Administrative Supervisor tracks the impact of change efforts and realigns action plan components to meet or surpass program targets. All interactions with families and within the team will be monitored for fidelity to program models; re-direction and re-teaching will be provided to increase fidelity. Work with assigned team members to ensure client files are complete, accurate, and organized per KVC contract, and accreditation standards. As directed by the organization, The Administrative Supervisor will formally evaluate employee performance. Where it is necessary the supervisor will engage in performance improvement plans and counseling to address performance issues. The supervisor will establish and lead routine team meetings that provide opportunities to advance program goals and meet team workplace needs. A high level of visibility and accessibility of the Supervisor to assigned team members is essential to quality outcomes.

30% Individual & Team Development

Program leadership sets clear goals that individuals and teams are expected to accomplish. Essential tasks and the performance standards for tasks are made clear to optimize quality of work. Leadership holds individuals and teams accountable to their goals and performance standards through monitoring, praise, recognition and feedback. Leadership provides an opportunity for individuals and teams to reflect on and enhance their workplace experience through action planning. The unique contribution of every individual is explored to enhance self and other awareness. Opportunities are provided to develop innate skill and manage areas of weakness. Team leadership will establish the culture of the team through setting the tone, pace and environment. All teams will honor diversity, strive for inclusion, prioritize relationships, and have fun. The Administrative Supervisor will monitor the productivity and performance regarding completion of reports and necessary assessments in collaboration with the Clinical Director who will sign the notes and assessments and approve for quality.

20% Community Collaboration

Capacity building requires successful internal and external relationships with professionals and individuals vested in the agency mission and vision. Job duties will include as a priority that a Supervisor: assist with the development of successful collaborative partnerships and business relationships both with internal communities and external communities; seek out and establish positive relationships with traditional and non-traditional partners who share in the agency mission, vision and values; promote inclusion through teamwork and in team assignments. Be available and represent KVC as a leader and decision-maker in public interactions; assess and identify needed services and create opportunities for new business development at the community level; participate in work groups, community committees, and task forces to represent the agency’s interests and support community need.

10% Client Support

In times of crisis and instability, families need a firm support system to provide an able foundation to rely upon. The Supervisor will establish an attitude of quality care and support and will assist with direct support as necessary. Will attend and provide support for family team meetings, court hearings, client supervision and other needed direct care services.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or University in the field of Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Early Childhood Development, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

  • Three plus years of Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, and/or mental health assessment and treatment experience required. Three years of successful work experience in customer and human service preferred. Two years of successful supervisory and management experience required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

Requires Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as Outlook email

Preferred Experience

  • Successful supervisory/management experience;
  • Provision, management, implementation or other exposure to Evidence Based Practices
  • Provision of services that were: home-based, with marginalized populations, and/or mandated clients.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
