As a Clinical Admin Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing inbound calls, entering patient information into information systems, and resolve caller’s issues with outstanding customer service skills.
If you have the ability to work within Pacific time zone, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate Optum’s commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer
- Multi-task utilizing double monitors for data entry, phone etiquette, and use of resources while maintaining proper guidelines
- Assists other Clinical Admin Coordinators and Supervisors with daily work load as needed
- Recognizes financial, medical and legal risks based on data collected during customer interactions and follows appropriate procedures
- Meet department goals which include but not limited to productivity, accuracy, quality, and attendance
- Utilizes Optum systems to resolve customer needs such as authorizations, eligibility, benefits, appeals

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- 18 years of age or older
- 1+ years of clinical review or patient care experience
- Ability to demonstrate solid proficiency using MS Suite and other systems
- Ability to work M-F 0800-1700 Pacific Time with some weekend/holiday coverage
Preferred Qualification:
- 1+ years working in a healthcare setting
