Berven Forestry has been trimming trees and beautifying northern Colorado for the past 17 years. We have a strong and loyal following of customers that we strive to impress time and again by providing excellent service and an exceptionally high quality of work.
We are looking for an Arborist who is passionate about trees with a strong interest in the tree care industry. We care more about your character and potential than your work experience.

Responsibilities:
· Safely, efficiently and professionally perform tree pruning, removals, rigging and operating/maintaining a variety of equipment and tools (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lift, stump grinder, wood splitter, vehicles and trailers)
· Communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers, supervisors and customers to build relationships and resolve issues promptly.
· Bring a positive and cooperative attitude to the job-site.
· Be willing to learn, adapt and expand your skillset as necessary.
· Be willing and able to drive large trucks and trailers in town and on busy roads.
· Ensure that all tree work is conducted properly and to industry and company standards.
· Monday-Thursday is the typical work schedule but with opportunities for work on Friday as needed.
Qualifications:
· A passion for trees, nature and the outdoor environment
· A willingness and the ability to work/engage in all aspects of Arboriculture
· Verifiable experience (2+ years) of tree climbing and aerial lift operation within the tree care industry
· Current and valid driver’s license
· Experience driving large trucks and trailers (manual transmission experience preferred)
· Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
· Ability to work outdoors, year-round in all weather conditions
· Self-motivated, team-oriented, positive attitude and with proven initiative
Wages and Benefits:
· $28-$32 per hour to start
