Life Insurance Trust Company (“Trust Company”) is a South Dakota-based Trust Company focused exclusively on the administration of Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts (ILITs) and provides fiduciary services to grantors and beneficiaries of these trusts. Our purpose is to empower parties to life insurance policies held in trust to make informed decisions and realize the full value of life insurance assets.
Life Insurance Trust Company (LITCO) is growing! We are looking for a self-motived Client Support Specialist to work with our President and New Business Development Manager to provide highly accurate and timely services to LITCO’s new and existing customers. You will be responsible for onboarding new life insurance trust accounts and ensuring all documentation is received. This position will work closely with the existing customers as well as LITCO Trust Officers to assist in onboarding new accounts.
Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee new business acceptance
  • Interface directly with client prospects and/or their advisors and respond to inquiries from prospective clients and their advisors
  • Manage all tasks associated with onboarding new clients – this includes obtaining necessary paperwork, reviewing trusts, and drafting documents
  • Maintain a Project Tracker to stay organized throughout the onboarding process
  • Follow up with client prospects on a periodic basis if appropriate documents have not been received
  • Field calls from client prospects
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
  • Associates for Bachelor’s degree (will consider and associates degree with relevant experience)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • Adaptability as well as the aptitude and desire to learn
  • The ability to think strategically and problem solve combined with a willingness to do the work and execute quickly
  • Task oriented, resourceful and results-driven
  • Experience working cross-functionally with different internal teams
Preferred consideration given for:
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Prior trust experience
  • Experience working in Salesforce
Compensation:
  • Pay based on education and experience. We offer a competitive base salary
