Job Description
Business Interiors, a MillerKnoll Furniture Dealer, is looking for a Customer Service Representative for our rapidly growing company. This position is an integral part of our sales team and will work closing with sales, design, project management, vendors and customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Help maintain strong customer relationships by responding to internal and external customer needs and coordinating internal resources;
- Assist Sales Associate or Project Manager with pricing and preparation of proposals, bids and specifications;
- Aid in identifying and preparing specific ancillary price quotations;
- Work with Project Managers to obtain labor quote information;
- Coordinate all necessary information with vendors to get projects ready;
- Prepare change orders and internally communicate any changes;
- Regularly attend and participate in Team Meetings;
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- At least 2-4 years experience in sales support or a similar role.
- Working knowledge of MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with office furniture dealers or manufacturers is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Orders and customer servicing especially via phone and email.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
- Strong attention to details, ensuring orders and deliveries are successful and any questions are handled properly.
- Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities to meet deadlines and changing goals.
- Self-motivated, strong initiative and good problem-solving skills.
