Form of workPart Time- Client Service Representative (CSR) We are looking to fill a PT Client Service Representatives position. Ideally this person will have background in the veterinary industry around animals, or job related experience. The main responsibility of the CSR, is to provide exceptional client service through an articulate, outgoing, and empathetic personality.
This position is responsible for greeting our clients, determining their needs, educating and informing the clients about our vendor programs, products and best health recommendations for their pet. The position requires practical knowledge of the hospitals policies and procedures, and the ability to manage challenging occurrences in an articulate way. This position is for an assertive individual, willing to perform all necessary CSR duties as related to our patient care.
Essential Functions/Requirements v High School Diploma/ GED or higher v Minimally 1 year in the animal medical field or equivalent v Proficient Computer skills/ Word/Excel/Outlook- PIMS experience preferred v Adept in managing the physical and emotional aspects of work in a veterinary environment, including delicate situations such as euthanasia and stressful situations v Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, restraining and carrying up to 50lbs v Able to go up and down stairs multiple times per day v Can bend, and stand freely v Able to sit for long periods of time v Timely Necessary Skills v Has effective listening skills, critical thinking, and complex problem solving abilities. v Ability to multitask efficiently work well individually and within a team v Models a professional courteous manner with all staff and clients v Self-Motivated v Takes pride in one's workspace and presents themselves professionally in personal and in appearance (clean neat scrubs) v Communicates professionally, timely and effectively to all members of the team and clients v Professionally responds to all hospital communications with professionalism and tact, using welcoming telephone etiquette at all times(escalates situations or concerns when necessary) v Collaborative Benefits v All Part time CSR's receive a Benefit Package with 401(K) participation, Paid sick time off (accrued based on tenure and hours) and a generous hospital discount for your pets.
