Black Bear Energy is a technology-enabled, commercial buyer’s representative specializing in onsite renewable energy. In the past seven years, Black Bear has helped its clients bid out over 1,000 clean technology projects in more than 20 states through its data driven process. We educate and empower our clients to decarbonize their built environment by deploying onsite solar, battery storage and other cleantech projects
LOCATION: Boulder, CO (Remote work optional)
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Client Operations Coordinator will work closely with senior members of the Black BearClient Operations team to ensure successful project identification, procurement, development and execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports team in managing successful solar implementation for their clients including portfolio assessments, creation of property site decks, and RFP results decks
  • Research and manage a repository of market information for the Client Operations team
  • Assist the Client Operations Team in identifying new markets, new sites within those markets, and strategically moving forward with channel partners
  • Interface and coordinate with a results-driven multi-disciplinary team of internal and external parties to ensure the viability of identified projects through analysis and project management;
  • Closely follow industry trends and competitor activities, including regulatory/ financial incentives, power pricing and structured financing transactions;
  • Enter and update relevant project and client data within Black Bear’s internal database
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1-5 years relevant experience preferred, but will consider entry level with relevant internships
  • Must be passionate about the renewable energy/sustainability industry
  • Willingness to travel, as needed
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills; the ability to quickly learn new tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Must have an entrepreneurial attitude and a diplomatic approach
OTHER RECOMMENDED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience working with corporate clients
  • Knowledge of or experience in solar PV, energy efficiency, energy storage, or power projects in US; knowledge of the renewable energy power market and its dynamics;
SALARY AND BENEFITS INFORMATION
  • Annual Salary $75,000 - $100,000 based on qualifications and experience
