AAFMAA Wealth Management & Trust LLC (AWM&T), a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Armed Forces Mutual Aid Association (AAFMAA), offers investment management, financial planning, and trust services to members of the American Armed Forces and their families. AWM&T is looking for a teammate with superb attention to detail ready to launch a new career in military wealth management.
Scope & Responsibilities:
- Support a multi-state team that develops, maintains and expands client relationships by actively supporting our services to potential and existing clients
- Provide all administrative support to Relationship Managers including data entry, document preparation, account maintenance, and office resource management Examples include opening and closing accounts, preparing account documents, completing account reviews, processing cash and in-kind receipts and disbursements, reviewing account fees, reviewing account transactions in coordination with tax preparer, preparing committee minutes, and preparing materials for client meetings.
- Support incoming mail management, flow of correspondence, equipment and supplies.
- Develop knowledge of financial planning, investment management, and trust services, and the confidence to provide exemplary support to the team, prospective clients and existing clients
- Facilitate team coordination through support and communication with Relationship Managers, Investment Officers, Financial Planners, Marketing, and Compliance
Education & Skills Required:
- Prior experience preferred in the wealth management/financial services industry, including the use of trust accounting software, portfolio management software, Salesforce, Box and Docupace
- Familiarity with the needs and unique circumstances of the military family
- Bachelor’s degree
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills, developing new business relationships and being a part of a fast-paced team
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, attention to detail and manage time effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
