Job Description


As a valued leader on our team, you will manage overseeing customer network development and customer support activities, as well as supporting customer engagement opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning, directing, or coordinating operational activities for the team with the help of executives and staff managers.


THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Client Account and Oversight Manager role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Manage counterparty, financial, and operational risk and exposure by monitoring Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Indicators.
  • Manage an experienced team focused on developing customer relationships across business units and/or customer accounts.
  • Identify executives, managers, and team members to support customer relationships.
  • Assist with developing a plan to promote Fannie Mae's products and services to make sure people across the country have access to affordable financing opportunities.
  • Provide strategic support and direction for operational activities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, best practices, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead key projects for the business unit and enterprise

Qualifications


THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • At least 6 years experience
  • Experience in origination, processing, underwriting, closing, post-closing & servicing
  • Experience in secondary mortgage (credit risk, capital markets, technology, relationship management, counterparty risk, operations & legal/compliance)
  • Process improvement experience (certification preferred); lean management, Six Sigma
  • Experience in metrics-based management; dashboard, scorecards, workforce management and process mapping
  • Ability to manage through change and be a change agent for your team
  • Ability to engage with team members on their personal development
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills
  • Strong management skills to motivate, coach and manage tenured mortgage professionals.

Desired Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; ;Master’s Degree preferred
  • 8+ years mortgage experience
  • People Management experience preferred
