Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit annual crime statistic reports to the Department of Education as required. Maintain the Department of Public Safety website.
- Reviews all police department incident reports, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) records, Campus Safety Authority (CSA) reports, and other sources of crime data for reportable Clery crimes.
- Stays abreast of changes to the Clery Act and other laws and regulations affecting Clay provisions.
- Works with various institutional stakeholders on Clery Act requirements.
- Coordinate and/or conducts training for faculty, staff, and student body.
- Communicate effectively through oral and written mediums.
- Compose, edit, proofread, and format various correspondence, reports, and other written materials.
- Evaluate research to identify potential solutions, strategize addressing problems, and provide information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and appropriate documentation.
- Prioritize work and demonstrate excellent organization skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
