Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough and efficient cleaning tasks in household settings.
• Uphold a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and/or fellow team members.
• Approach each task with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications:

• Must be physically capable of performing tasks - can easily get up and down off the floor, can stand, walk consecutively for 4 hours
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
• Professionalism in all interactions with clients and team members.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality service.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be over the age of 18
• Must be okay around animals

All applicants are required to complete a 30 day apprenticeship period with the company to learn company best practices at a training wage of $17/hour for a minimum of 15 hours per week prior to being promoted into the field. Upon completion of apprenticeship candidate will be given a skills test. If apprentice has a satisfactory score they will be automatically promoted into the field at $19/hour with an opportunity for a 90 day employment raise to $21. All promotions thenceforward will be merit based.

In order to protect our clients and their homes all candidates are required to give permission for Polished Housekeeping Services to perform a criminal background check prior to hiring. Drug screens will also be mandatory with the exception of marijuana. If you feel that you are unable to pass the criminal or drug screen (not counting marijuana) we kindly ask that you do not apply.
