Wakeda Campground Cleaning Team Member
Are you an early bird? Do you like working in the morning and having the rest of your day free? If so, we might have the job for you! We are looking for grow our stellar Cleaning Team! This position is for the morning cleaning of toilet/shower buildings. The candidate should be friendly, hardworking and reliable. A good sense humor also helps! We have a great team and while you work hard we want you to enjoy your time here. Having clean facilities is absolutely critical to the success of the campground.
Schedule (May 15 -September 30):

3-5 Weekday/Weekend Mornings Per Week (8:00am-to approximately 12:00pm)
Other times: Approximately 12-20 hours per week.
During the busiest part of the season (late June through Labor Day) you will clean with another person.
Starting Pay: $14 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas ensuring all work is done in accordance with instructions provided. Daily checklists must be completed.
- Thoroughly clean restrooms. Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors & counters, remove cobwebs and sweep and mop floors. Replenish all supplies and refill all dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper & hand soap.
- Scrub shower stalls (on specified days of the week). Scrub shower walls, benches, floors. Clear drain traps. Hose down floor, wall & ceiling. Empty and remove trash.
- Clean laundry room. Wash walls and windows, clean machines, replenish all supplies and refill all dispensers.
- Inspect all assigned areas daily and report all cleaning and maintenance discrepancies or deficiencies to Supervisor.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct at all times.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times. Wakeda staff shirt (will be provided) must be worn while performing work duties.
- Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
- Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
· Ability to utilize cleaning equipment and follow safety procedures.

· Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
Tools & Equipment Used
Use mops, cleaning solutions, hoses, scrub pads, brushes, sponges, brooms, hand tools, and personal protective equipment as required.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
· This position works in indoor and outdoor conditions and exposed to elements including, but not limited to, chemicals, odor, weather and environmental conditions.
· The employee must be able to work in an upright standing position for long periods of time, and must be able to sit, walk, crawl, climb, reach with hands and arms and lift up to 40 lbs. The employee must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed.
