Barger Property Ventures is a fast-growing, successful real estate company in central Ohio, and for this role, specifically the Rockbridge/Logan area. We specialize in luxury short-term and long-term rentals, and real estate investments, and have an incredible team that supports our vision.

Having worked with external Cleaning Teams for years, with our growth, we are bringing our Cleaning Team internal, and hope you might want to be a part of it! We’re looking to build this team in spring 2024.

We are acquiring a 100+ acre campsite and family fun center in the Rockbridge area. In addition, we have an 8 acre micro resort in Logan, just a few miles away. Combined, they will have multiple treehouses, lodges, cabins, office space and more that will need to be cleaned and maintained between guest stays:

· We are seeking a full-time Cleaning Team Lead, who ideally has experience in cleaning and managing others. The Team Lead will oversee several other cleaners, and ensure that all check ins/outs are being monitored, in daily communication with our Luxury Concierge.

· We are also seeking members of the Cleaning Team itself. These could be full or part time positions. Ideally these Team Members have experience doing residential and/or professional cleaning previously.

· All Team Members operate between a check in/check out window, typically 10am and 4pm, though this can vary. We have cleans 7 days a week. It is feasible that the Team Lead works on site 5 days a week, but is monitoring the rest of the team on the other 2 days. They should ensure that we have enough Team Members and coverage to complete cleans within the scheduled amount of time.

· Amount of cleans each day could vary – some days maybe 3, some days 11. So working with the Luxury Concierge, the Team Lead will need to schedule an appropriate amount of cleaners each day to complete all the turns.

· All cleaners should be prompt, friendly, and have an exceptional attention to detail. We have a reasonable but substantial list of cleaning standards, and we expect them to be met every time. If for any reason these standards cannot be met (ie: running late, out of soap, etc.) the Luxury Concierge must be notified immediately. We provide all resources including cleaning materials, materials for guest stays, etc.

· Communication in these roles is absolutely key. Cleanings must be done immaculately, within a given timeframe, due to the next guests checking in. During work we have a team text chain to ensure that all issues are immediately resolved, and no one falls behind. Attention to detail is not just in cleanings, but in reading these messages. The Luxury Concierge and Cleaning Team Lead will provide direction during cleanings, it is important for Team Members to read these directions and follow them carefully.

We do envision a full-time role for this position – we have guests all months of the year. However, expect that our busier seasons are the warmer months. Salary/pay rate is commensurate with experience.
