Job Description:
As a Cleaning Specialist at ReadyStay Cleans, you will experience a dynamic work environment where each day presents new challenges and opportunities. Your role is essential in preparing short-term rental properties for incoming guests, ensuring they enjoy a clean and comfortable stay. While your primary responsibility is to turnover properties after guest stays, your schedule may vary based on cleaning demand from guest reservations.
Day in the Life:
Your schedule will vary depending on the volume of guest reservations. Some days may be busier than others, requiring efficient turnaround times for property turnovers.
If there are no immediate guest check-ins, you may have flexibility in scheduling your tasks for the day. This allows you to manage your workload according to your discretion while ensuring the property is ready for the next guest.
Each clean involves thoroughly cleaning bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, floors, and laundry. Laundry tasks are typically scheduled separately to optimize efficiency, often requiring a visit to the laundromat.
Additionally, you will need to visit the storage unit to inventory supplies and collect the necessary items for the week's cleans. This ensures you have everything needed to maintain impeccable cleanliness standards.
Some weeks may be slower with fewer reservations, while others may be busier with multiple turnovers. Your adaptability and ability to manage varying workloads will be key to success in this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed cleaning tasks to ensure short-term rental properties are impeccably maintained for incoming guests.
- Turnover properties efficiently, including cleaning bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, floors, and managing laundry tasks.
- Schedule and manage tasks based on cleaning demand from guest reservations, with flexibility in scheduling on non-check-in days.
- Visit the storage unit to inventory supplies and gather necessary items for the week's cleans.
- Adhere to company standards and protocols to consistently deliver high-quality cleaning services that exceed guest expectations.
- Communicate effectively with the management team to report any issues or maintenance concerns observed during cleaning assignments.
- Embrace a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuously seek opportunities to enhance cleaning processes and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in professional cleaning, preferably in hospitality or short-term rental settings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional cleaning results.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to travel to various cleaning assignments, storage unit, and laundromat.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and adapt to evolving job requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
