Clean up crew

Our Bus company is now hiring cleaners for our clean-up crew. We are looking to hire 2-3 new cleaners.

Hours will vary each day. It depends on the number of buses being used as well as the dispatch schedule. The cleaning times are often at night and into the early morning (1,2,3 am) because that is when the motorcoaches typically return back from their trips. Please apply if you can only work night/early morning shifts because day shifts are very limited. However, if you are only looking for day shifts this is not a good position. Weekend work is also required! Starting pay is $15-$16.00 an hour to start depending on previous work experience. We do offer other opportunities for pay increases including those that learn to move the coaches or take on a managerial role. Must have reliable transportation to our location in Brownstown, MI. Individuals that can work nights and days can increase their hours by taking on other tasks.

Job duties include washing bus exteriors, restocking supplies, removing all trash from the bus, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, cleaning armrests, cleaning seats, cleaning restroom walls and toilets, dumping toilets, and adding chemicals to toilets, cleaning out baggage compartments, and other detail oriented work throughout the bus, as needed. Work may also include general building, property maintenance, and janitorial duties including cleaning the office, restroom, locker room, and other work areas. Applicants must work efficiently to be certain the vehicles are clean and ready to go when they are scheduled to leave the garage.

Successful candidates will:

* Be comfortable working late evenings and weekends (weekends are typically the busiest). There will be some day shifts available, but the large majority of work is at night into the early hours of the morning. If you can't work day shifts at all please let us know when applying (this will not be a dealbreaker).

* Have stellar attendance, a positive attitude, and be self-motivated.

Looking for serious candidates only. Janitorial experience is a big plus, but it is not necessarily needed. We will train the right people who have a great attitude, a great work ethic, and simply love to clean!

Any work history of detailing, waxing, polishing, washing, etc. will be taken into account. List any and all of this experience on your resume or in the notes on your application. Please be honest about your experience when being hired.

In the near future, there is likely going to be a managerial type role with increased responsibilities and increased pay for the right person.
