Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Plan and conduct activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Previous experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies for children with special needs
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Understanding of literacy education principles and techniques
