About the role
codeCampus is seeking to hire and train a Classroom Aide in the Lawndale area for Spring 2024 and beyond. As a codeCampus Classroom Aide, you will:
- Assist a Lead Instructor with in-school, after-school, and/or summer classes
- Work with students in grades TK - 8th
- Help students with questions on the lesson content
- Troubleshoot basic technology issues
- Learn classroom management skills to keep students on track
About you
Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:
- Available to start training immediately and working from January 2024 until at least the end of the school year
- Available on Monday-Friday from 1:30PM - 6:00PM, roughly 16-20hrs a week
- A high school diploma
- Time-management, planning, and organization skills
- Exceptional communication skills, including being able to fluently speak, write, and read English appropriate in a classroom setting
- Access to reliable transportation (if you drive to work, proof of license/auto insurance required)
- Must pass a criminal background check
Compensation
The starting hourly rate for this position is $17.00- 19.00/hour + travel reimbursements, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
