SalarySpokane based company is seeking a dependable CDL Class B Delivery Truck Driver with a current medical card to safely operate a box truck to transport produce to and from specified destination in the Billings, Montana greater area.
Driver will unload/deliver various products on an assigned route schedule. Using a positive, friendly attitude, driver will build relationships with each customer and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.
You will need to be a dedicated self-starter with a GREAT attitude! Early morning start time is REQUIRED of this position and overtime may be available, if business needs dictate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Maintain interstate Class B Commercial Driver License
- Maintain interstate DOT Medical Certificate
- Deliver product to scheduled accounts in good condition and within scheduled delivery time following all state and local road regulations
- Maintain assigned vehicle in accordance to applicable safety regulations
- Must be flexible; overtime hours, working weekends and holidays and the ability to start at a variety of times all are required in order to successfully meet customer needs
- Complete truck inspections and record hours of service via electronic log
- Follow all Company Policies and Procedures
SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Candidates should have at least 6 months truck driving experience
- Requires basic math skills
- Must be able to lift, push, or move product weighing up to 100 pounds
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States
- Approachable personality and winning attitude are a necessity
- Must be 21 years of age
The successful candidate will be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen, and continue to satisfy our drug testing policy if offered employment. We are a Federal Contractor and drug free workplace, which includes a prohibition on marijuana use for all employees.
We offer a competitive compensation of $24.00 an hour. Our benefits package includes medical/dental/vision/life and disability insurance first of the month after 60 days, paid time off after 1 year and 401(k) with employer match after 6 months.
