Pay Rate: $26.00/hour to $34.00/hour DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Job Summary
The position of a Rancho Foods' Over the Road Driver will perform the duties involved in providing delivery routes for inbound product in a safe and efficient manner. Rancho Foods' Over the Road Driver bears the responsible for staying updated with DOT regulations, ensuring their license, DOT medical card, and record are up to date, and following all federal, state, and local regulations. Over the Road Driver will also be responsible for all product loads assigned to their trucks and/or routes including, but not limited to: for-hire loads and dedicated Rancho Foods loads. Over the Road Drivers will be expected to take routes to Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, and Texas. A Rancho Foods Over the Road Driver will be expected to take dedicated routes, returning to Rancho Foods on a weekly basis.
Essential Functions
Driving Duties
- Perform a pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Log into the appropriate route using a company issued cell phone
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner through planned routes
Delivery Duties
- Ensure all invoiced product is accounted for and loaded in truck
- Responsible for making sure that the truck is locked when unattended
- Responsible for checking, and double checking, all payments received
- Responsible for checking in with dispatch twice daily as to the status of the load
- Performing product and money pick-ups as needed
Job Qualifications
Valid California Class A license
Valid DOT Medical Card
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
Reading, writing, and basic math skills
