Class A Driver

Primary responsibility is to drive company vehicles to deliver merchandise to customer jobsites and physically unload the materials to the customer’s satisfaction.

• Learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
• Load, organize, and secure trucks according to the sales invoice.
• Responsible for accuracy of each load leaving the yard.
• Deliver and unload materials according to directions and on a timely basis.
• Record delivery information on sales invoice and relay messages from customers on jobsites.
• Maintain Pre-Trip inspections daily on all trucks, forklifts, and delivery vehicles.
• Follow all yard loading and delivery, and yard security procedures.
• Accurately record all merchandise returns on a credit memo.
• Listen to and work with customers.
• Housekeeping in yard and areas assigned to you.
• Loading customer merchandise.

• High School diploma required.
• Physical strength to lift and carry 80-100 pounds.
• Boom certificate is a plus!
• Desire to learn and grow professionally.
• Ability to react quickly to problems and respond to them accurately and professionally.
• Ability to stand/walk for 4 -10 hours daily.
• Ability to operate office equipment.
• Valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a good driving record.
• Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch.
• Must be self-motivated and dependable.
