SalaryResponsibilities:
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck
- Transport goods and materials over long distances
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate with dispatch and other drivers using two-way radios or cell phones
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Ability to drive long hours and travel overnight if necessary
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Please note that this job may require occasional lifting, bending, and climbing in and out of the truck. Additionally, candidates must be comfortable with extended periods of sitting.
