SalaryCLASS A CDL DRIVER Job Summary: Shusters Building Components is a manufacturer of interior and exterior door units that serves the retail building supply industry in 7 states surrounding the Tri-State area. This Class A CDL driving position requires a minimum of 10 years experience, good driving record, and references from previous employers. The duties involved in this position are driving to several assigned stops, tailgating the door units for offload, ensure that all paperwork is in order and processed properly, essentially making each stop as quick and efficient as possible. Good communication skills are required with both our customers and our scheduling office.
Pre and post trip inspections are performed on every trip. During the pandemic we have limited 2 day runs that require a layover, on occasion we are still running them with strict CDC procedures. In non-Covid times, expect to have a layover approximately once a week.
