Brisk Air, the leading heating and cooling company in Coral Springs, is currently seeking Service/Install Apprentices to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Follow defined service/tune-up procedures for HVAC equipment using digital step-by-step software procedures.
• Identify potential problems during maintenance/inspection and communicate necessary recommendations to the owner with completed estimates.
• Assist with authorized repairs and adjustments at the time of service.
• Gather equipment and part information and provide required repair estimates.
• Complete necessary paperwork, and electronic documents, and operate CRM computer software per Brisk Air standards and requirements.
• Assist all Service/Installation Experts as required.
• Complete all invoices according to company procedures.
• Invoice all service calls and obtain signatures.
• Process all jobs through CRM.
• Debrief with dispatch on every call that requires follow-up.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Service Manager for discussion.
• Report vehicle malfunctions to the office ASAP.
• Maintain proper fluids and tire air pressure in the vehicle.
• Keep van clean, organized, stocked, and in proper order.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Basic mechanical skills, positive attitude, and great work ethic.
• Attend and Graduate from a State Accredited HVACR program with a minimum 80% B grade paid for by Brisk Air, Inc. As well as complete the Requirements of an approved HVACR training program.
• Brisk Air will pay for the EPA study guide and first test. If additional tests are needed to achieve Universal EPA Certification, the additional test must be paid for by the employees.
• Complete Character assessment and mechanical aptitude test pre-employment.
• Possess a valid FL drivers license.
• Insurable with Brisk Air, Inc. auto insurance provider.
• Display a positive and professional image while representing Brisk Air, Inc. at all times.
• Physical Requirements: the ability to lift over 50 lbs, ability to crawl (attics and crawl spaces), climb (ladders, stairs, etc), bend or stoop, ability to spend extended periods of time walking. Tolerate varying weather conditions. Ability to operate a motor vehicle and operate power or hand tools.
• Applicant must provide their own tools.

Salary and Benefits:

• Full-Time position
• Salary at $16.00 - $19.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday. 8 - 10 hours shift.
