M2 Anesthesia has an immediate opportunity for a quality-driven candidate to join our team as a full-time Claims Specialist, Monday through Friday. The initial location for this position will be our office in North Orem, Utah, until December 2023. From January 2024 onwards, the role will transition to a remote work arrangement.
This full-time opportunity is within our expanding pediatric general anesthesia group, with a primary focus on assisting in the submission of commercial insurance anesthesia billing claims in WA and OR. While experience with billing software is advantageous, coding proficiency is not a prerequisite, as we employ fewer than 5 codes in our daily billing and are prepared to provide training. The role necessitates prior experience in claims submission and a foundational understanding of working with insurance companies.
Day-to-day responsibilities encompass, but are not restricted to:
- Submitting medical claims to commercial insurance companies
- Processing payments/statements received from insurance companies
- Engaging with insurance companies to address and resolve claims
- Providing support for the day-to-day operations of the office, as needed
