Position Description: The Claims Specialist is responsible for the coverage analysis, investigation, negotiation, and settlement of Professional Liability claims.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of claims experience managing Professional Liability claims. Experience handling architects & engineers, insurance agents, real estate appraisers and/or lawyers’ claims a plus.
- Experience handling claims on a nationwide basis, with a concentration in California and Florida.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Must possess proficient writing and presentation skills.
- Must be able to partner with our Program administrators to support program growth.
- Bachelor’s degree required, JD preferred.
In New York City, NY the pay range for the role is $115,00 to $125,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. In addition, Hudson/Odyssey offers a comprehensive benefits package. This range is specific to New York City, NY and may not be applicable to other locations.
