SalaryWe are consultants for Skilled Nursing Facilities looking for a Part Time person to follow up on health insurance claims and assist the Billing Department.
Part Time Position Hours 3 days Week 8:30AM - 4:30PM or 9AM - 5PM
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
This is an IN OFFICE POSITION (no Remote available).
We are located in Wappingers Falls, NY.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties will include assisting the Billing department with follow up on insurance claims, resubmissions, appeals and various other claim related tasks.
This position requires employee to be on phone/headset most of the day making calls to insurances. Checking various Insurance Portals for claim status and submitting appeals.
Employee will follow up with insurances on claims for nursing homes to identify issues as to why claims denied/rejected and will submit corrected claims or appeals to the insurance companies.
Training will be provided during first few weeks.
Large amounts of phone/computer screen time required with this position.
Looking for someone who is able to work indepedently once training is complete and insterested in growing with our company. Many opportunities to grow if you are interested.
Skilled Nursing or Medical billing experience a major plus. Familiarity with insurance claims and insurance billing a plus.
Excel, Word, Email and Computer knowledge preferred
Punctuality, Reliability and ability to work independently are qualities we are looking for.
Must adheres to all HIPAA (Health Insurance Accountability and Portability Act) guidelines and regulations.
Salary is $18.00-$20.00/hour depending on skill
