Claims Inspector Administrator

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Claims Dept. Admin. will be responsible for verifying and validating part non-conformances. The primary role is to write up, move parts (electronically and physically), and communicate with suppliers to make sure parts are returned to the correct facilities. The Claims Admin. will use an information database along with other Claims personnel to verify the claim and have parts returned to the correct suppliers and manufacturers. You will also be responsible for contacting part suppliers along with preparing and shipping material when applicable. You may be required to act as a backup for the shipping office personnel. This is a fast-paced position and requires multi-tasking.

RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITY:

• Email and communicate with Suppliers, Dealerships, and G.M.

• May check in received trailers and communicate with Drivers.

• Inspect parts and determine correct disposition.

• Assist other departments in identifying or verifying parts.

• Use receiving application to ensure proper dealer credit.

• Return invalid claims to customer.

• Return parts to Manufacturers.

• Change material return types to accurately categorize returns.

• Identify free astray parts and receive them into inventory.

• Issue write-ups to suppliers for non-conformances and create return order paperwork.

• Prepare and ship parts to suppliers.

• Communicate with customer on Quality concerns.

SKILLS AND JOB EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to make decisions and be confident in your decision.

• Be able to read and write at a high school level.

• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.

• Some computer skills (Email and Google)

• General automotive knowledge

• Ability to lift parts up to 45lbs on a consistent basis.

• Good attendance record from previous employers

• Reliable transportation

• Self motivated

• Must be able to speak and correspond via email with professionalism.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

· GED or high school diploma

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
