Bellingham's tiniest, health-focused, friendly eatery located in the Historic Fairhaven neighborhood of Bellingham is getting ready for the 2024 spring/summer season.

At big love we take pride in teamwork and crafting naturally delicious fuel using fresh, organic ingredients with an emphasis on local sourcing and community.

We are looking for self-driven, committed, and engaged individuals with exceptional guest service skills and the ability to maintain a high standard of quality and execution to join our team. Our intention is to provide our loyal guests sustainable nutritious practices without compromise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcoming and recognizing guests, sharing product knowledge, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments
• Knowledge of organic superfoods + ingredients
• Operate coffee and juice equipment, such as espresso machine, blenders, and commercial cold press juicer
• Adhere to juice bar recipes for crafting food + drinks
• Prepare foods, such as acai bowls, salads and toasted items
• Package food and juice for retail sale
• Maintain the appearance of the juice bar with daily and weekly cleaning tasks
• Stock and replenish supplies
• Dish wash, clean and sanitize equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of guest areas

Experience:

• 1 year of guest service is required
• 1 year of kitchen prep is preferred

Compensation:

• starting wage $16.50/hour
• tips
• wage increases based on performance
