As Claims Clerkyou will be receive mail and batching and prepping claims on a daily basis, along with any reconsideration that need to batch. You can also be putting medical records in members folders, vertexing correspondence in the member folder. You can be filing and scanning documents. You will have a cubicle to work in for your daily task. You will be required two 15 mins breaks and 30 min lunch. You will also attend team meetings that you will attend as needed. You will have a team lead and manager to help assist with any questions.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (6:00am - 2:30pm PST). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 2720 N TENAYA WA, Las Vegas, NV.

We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Sort and file prescriptions/patient demographic forms (may include lifting up to 30 lbs.)
• Locate and retrieve prescriptions/patient demographic forms when requested.
• Label older prescription file boxes for offsite storage
• Cross train and work in all processes when needed
• Other duties as assigned
• Repetitive movements including: sit, stand, kneel, reach, and climb ladder

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED OR of equivalent working experience
• Must be 18 years or older
• Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system application
• Prior stable work experience

Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevada residents is $16.00 - $23.94 per hour.
